Our new Room 7/8 children come to visit

Last week 12 children from Rooms 5 and 6 came to spend the morning in our class. We were very excited because these children will join our classroom next term, so we tried hard to make them feel welcome.

Independent Writing

Once a week, on Friday, we do independent writing so we can show Mrs Tikey what we can do all by ourselves. Mrs Tikey is SO PROUD of how much we have learnt and how clever we are at being able to write one or two sentences on our own.

Letter of the Week

Junior Cross Country

After weeks of training we held our Junior Cross Country. We were lucky that it stopped raining!

Fruit Of The Week

This week we learnt about Kiwifruit.

We learnt that kiwifruit has vitamin C which helps to keep us healthy and to fight off bugs. Also we learnt that kiwifruit (like other fruit) contains natural sugars which make them sweet to eat and better for our health, than sugar that's found in lollies!

Our Reading Buddies
