Welcome to Room 7/8's blog.
We have 19 wonderful year 1 children in our classroom. We think we are super lucky because we have two teachers! Mrs Forsyth teaches us in the morning and in the afternoons Mrs Fairweather teaches us while Mrs Forsyth takes Reading Recovery. Our lovely teacher aides Jody and Ameena help us too! Maori Myths & Legends
We have really been enjoying reading some maori myths and legends in Room 7/8
Torie, Keiran and Aydan with three fantastic legends. We all decided that we really liked the illustrations by Peter Gossage.
