Welcome to Room 7/8's blog.
We have 19 wonderful year 1 children in our classroom. We think we are super lucky because we have two teachers! Mrs Forsyth teaches us in the morning and in the afternoons Mrs Fairweather teaches us while Mrs Forsyth takes Reading Recovery. Our lovely teacher aides Jody and Ameena help us too! Moving Milk
On Thursday we did a science experiment called moving milk. We put food colouring into a shallow dish of milk and observed what happened when we added a drop of dishwashing detergent. It was exciting watching the colours move and swirl around.
