Welcome to Room 7/8's blog. We have 19 wonderful year 1 children in our classroom. We think we are super lucky because we have two teachers! Mrs Forsyth teaches us in the morning and in the afternoons Mrs Fairweather teaches us while Mrs Forsyth takes Reading Recovery. Our lovely teacher aides Jody and Ameena help us too! Thanks for visiting our blog...we would love you to leave a comment.

Paper Planes
Today we made paper planes. We decorated our planes and then went outside to see how far they could fly.

FUN FRIDAY
We learnt the letter " Ff"
We noticed that a balloon that didn't have a lollie in it floated faster than a balloon that had a lollie in it. So we learnt that a lighter balloon floated faster than a heavy balloon.
On Friday we played with Foam and we did a Fizzy science experiment. Then we played with Floating balloons that had fruit bursts in them.
