Maths in Room 7/8

This week we have been practising our basic facts.  Some of the children used the mulitilink cubes to show a variety of ways we can make 10.
Kade showed that 5+5=10

So did Kylah but it was easier to read Kylah's as she kept her colours together.

Some of our independant activities are aimed at reinforcing earlier learning, such as making and repeating patterns (Algebra L1).

Great pattern Liam and you did it all on your own!

Ciara, Ashley and Jessica are pracitsing writing numbers.
