Welcome to Room 7/8's blog.
We have 19 wonderful year 1 children in our classroom. We think we are super lucky because we have two teachers! Mrs Forsyth teaches us in the morning and in the afternoons Mrs Fairweather teaches us while Mrs Forsyth takes Reading Recovery. Our lovely teacher aides Jody and Ameena help us too! We are learning about how to estimate and measure using a standard unit... Today we estimated and checked the length of our teddy's arm and total height.
