Welcome to Room 7/8's blog.
We have 19 wonderful year 1 children in our classroom. We think we are super lucky because we have two teachers! Mrs Forsyth teaches us in the morning and in the afternoons Mrs Fairweather teaches us while Mrs Forsyth takes Reading Recovery. Our lovely teacher aides Jody and Ameena help us too! Ms Finnerty's maths experts taught Mrs Fairweather's maths group all about 3D shapes. They had to work cooperatively to make 3D shapes with sticks and lollies.
