Welcome to Room 7/8's blog.
We have 19 wonderful year 1 children in our classroom. We think we are super lucky because we have two teachers! Mrs Forsyth teaches us in the morning and in the afternoons Mrs Fairweather teaches us while Mrs Forsyth takes Reading Recovery. Our lovely teacher aides Jody and Ameena help us too! We are learning why we need to use standard units for measuring- Morris was 6 1/2 of Mrs Fairweather's hands tall and 11 of Emma's hands tall. The length of his arm was 22 multi link cubes.
